About us

This year, 2023, marked 10 years of Freedom Dance Academy classes in Bishop's Waltham! I'm proud to say that some of our very first students are still with us, they have grown a lot and are turning into gorgeous dancers!
All classes are taught by me, Bethany (Principal) I am also the person on the other end of any correspondence you'll have with the school.

My main aim with our classes is that students enjoy learning to dance, feel included and gain confidence. Within this environment they will then be able to learn technique and the dance skills that they require to take part in exams and shows that are offered.

I trained to be a teacher with the ISTD at the Deborah Capon College in Whitstable, Kent and gained invaluable training from very knowledgeable and inspiring teachers, I will always do my best to pass this on to my students.
